Introduction : Thalassemia :thalassemia is the Hereditary Disease Affect the blood- making . Become Hemoglobin in red blood cells is able to do it’s job.Causing Anemia, a hereditary and chronic disease of children

Reasons :

-Thalassemia is a hereditary from parents living with the disease to some of their children. To understand the genetic part of this disease you need to know some things relating to the manufacture of hemoglobin and some of the basics of genetics.


- Manufacture of hemoglobin: Make hemoglobin inside red blood cells, which are also manufactured in the bone marrow .

- Genes and Algelobin: There are two basic types of material Algelobin. Zhlobin first called the alpha and the other called beta globin.



Symptoms of Thalassemia :

1-Pale skin color, sometimes with yellowing, one of the primary symptoms observed by the people of the infected child.
2- Symptoms of loss of appetite.
3- Delays in growth.
4- Recurrence of inflammation.









Prevention :

- Medical consultation and medical examination before marriage,

- Reduce the phenomenon of mating between relatives




Treatment :

- Monthly blood transfusions to maintain normal levels of blood Hmocalobin.

- Deal with daily medication such as pills or L1 Desfral injection under the skin to remove excess iron in the body before they can leak out in different parts of the body



conclusion :
This disease is very serious and affect on children In the next two by marriage to make necessary examination . Preferably non-consanguineous marriage, because this disease is hereditary
